About HookKit

Why we built it

HookKit is made by a short-form video editor who cuts Reels, TikToks and Shorts for creators every week. The same problem came up again and again: great footage, but a weak first two seconds. Viewers scrolled past before the good part.

So we built a tool that does one job well. Type what your video is about and HookKit gives you ten hooks in different proven styles, a caption laid out as hook → build-up → payoff, matching hashtags and suggested posting times for each platform.

What you'll find here

• The hook maker — free, no sign-up, works on any phone.
• Guides — practical articles on hooks, captions, hashtags, posting times and growing an audience, written from real editing work.
• The Creator Hook Pack — an optional printable PDF with 120 hook templates, 10 caption formulas and a 30-day content plan, for creators who want everything in one place.

How HookKit stays free

The hook maker and guides are free for everyone. We cover our costs with advertising and with sales of the optional Hook Pack. Ads are always clearly separate from the tool. You never need to buy anything to use HookKit.

Our promise

• Honest advice. No guaranteed-viral claims. We share what works in practice and tell you to test it on your own audience.
• Your data stays yours. The topics you type and the hooks you save stay in your browser. Read our Privacy Policy.
• Always improving. We add new hook styles and guides based on what creators ask for.
