Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains what information HookKit ("we", "us") collects when you use hookkit.pages.dev (the "Site"), how we use it, and the choices you have.
1. Information you type into the tool
The hook maker runs in your browser. The topics you type, your settings, your streak and the hooks you save are stored in your browser's local storage on your own device. They are not sent to our servers. You can delete them at any time by clearing your browser's site data.
We do not require an account, and we do not ask for your name or email to use the tool.
2. Newsletter
If you join our newsletter, we collect your email address, the date you joined and which form you used. We use it only to send you HookKit emails (new hooks, tips and occasional offers). Sign-ups are stored in a Cloudflare D1 database operated for us by Cloudflare. We never sell or share your email. Every email we send has an unsubscribe link, and you can ask us to delete your address at any time.
Joining is optional: the hook maker and the free PDF work without it.
3. Cookies and advertising
We use Google AdSense to show ads on the Site. Google and its partners are third-party vendors that use cookies to serve ads.
- Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this Site or other websites.
- Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visits to this Site and/or other sites on the Internet.
- You may opt out of personalised advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings. You can also opt out of some third-party vendors' use of cookies for personalised advertising at www.aboutads.info, or, in Europe, at www.youronlinechoices.eu.

Third-party ad vendors and networks that may serve ads on the Site: Google AdSense (adsense.google.com). You may also see ads from other networks that participate in Google's ad auction; you can review and opt out of personalised ads from them through the links above.
4. Translation
The Site is written in English. If you choose another language from the language menu at the top, the page loads Google Translate, which sends the page's text to Google to translate it and stores your language choice in a cookie named googtrans. Google Translate is not loaded unless you choose a language. Choosing English again turns it off. See the Google Privacy Policy.
Your light/dark mode choice is saved in your browser's local storage on your device.
5. Analytics
We do not currently use separate analytics cookies. If we add an analytics service, we will update this page and name it here.
6. Purchases
The Creator Hook Pack is sold through Gumroad. When you buy, Gumroad collects your payment details, name and email address to process the order and deliver your file. We receive your name, email and order details so we can support you. We never see your full card details. Gumroad's handling of your data is described in the Gumroad Privacy Policy.
7. Emails you send us
If you email us, we use your email address and message only to reply and help you. We do not sell or share it.
8. Server logs
Like most websites, our hosting provider may automatically record basic technical information such as IP address, browser type and pages requested, for security and to keep the Site running. These logs are kept for a limited time.
9. Children
The Site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.
10. Your rights
Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR in Europe or the CCPA in California), you may have the right to access, correct or delete personal information we hold about you, and to object to certain uses. To make a request, email us at our contact email (coming soon).
11. Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. We will change the "Last updated" date above when we do.
